The 3s Model

Reach High developed the 3S model as a helpful way to express how Autism can impact an individual’s life. The relationship between Sensory, Survival, and Social is different for each child but there are some similarities across all children with Autism.

He would not be where he is today without Reach High

If I was a writer, I could write a book about how Reach High has impacted the life of CH.  There is not a therapist/employee past and present he doesn’t know by name and asks to hang out with when he is not there.  Just a couple of weeks ago he wanted to hang out with Lynnette who was there when he first started.  You are his extended family and he would not be where he is today without Reach High.  He loves you all deeply.
I believe he started around the age of three/four and was non-verbal and today he is eight and well…sometimes will not stop talking (even louder now at times).  He is so smart and I know you are working as hard as you can to prepare him for school and the real world someday.  Please don’t give up on him.
Thank you cannot be said enough to each and everyone of you.  When you are having a rough day and sometimes wonder if what you are doing is worth it, look at CH and other clients.  What you do is worth it and I know you will be blessed for it.  Thank you, thank you and thank you!!!!!

Reach High has changed our lives

In the last 12 months Jude has grown academically. He now knows his letters, numbers, actions and can speak in full sentences. Jude has become independent in everyday activities because Reach High has taught him how to dress himself, tie his shoes and brush his teeth. Jude is trying new foods such as fruits and vegetables, whereas before he only ate pizza, yogurt and chicken nuggets.

Independence has increased tremendously

Reach High works with Kaleb as an individual. They pinpoint his own specific needs, then develop a program to target and maximize positive goals, while also decreasing unwanted behaviors. Kaleb’s independence has increased tremendously.

Chance has grown tremendously in his life skills.

Reach High has taught him many grooming skills, Chance can now take a shower start to finish in a timely, well-organized manner. After he mastered showering, RHC worked on his shaving and now my son can shave independently. Chance is much more social and greets people he knows and sometimes even those he doesn’t know. I love how Reach High staff have an open door of communication with me, making me feel a part of my son’s therapy. Reach High also assisted in transferring skills from clinic to home, giving me tools to implement his success in the clinic at home.

Friendly and highly trained staff

Reach High has been the most friendly and highly trained staff we have ever had the pleasure to work with. Our son Ryan looks forward to coming everyday and making new friends. The transition to adulthood can be such a challenge, but since our family found RHC we have no doubt Ryan will be a successful and thriving individual within our community.
